Drivers Age
The minimum driver’s age is 22 years and the maximum driver’s age is 75 years.
Driver’s License
Antigua Temporary Driver's Permit is mandatory and is issued by car Rental Company at the rental desk, valid for only 3 months from the date of issue and is available for an additional driver of USD 20 per driver. Maximum driver 3.
Insurance Coverage
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
CDW is not included in the rental price but can be purchased at the counter for an additional cost of 12 USD to 35 USD per day, depending on the vehicle. This coverage reduces the customer’s liability for damage by covering the excess amount. If the customer is at fault, they will still be responsible for the remaining balance of the damage after the excess amount. If the customer is not at fault, they will not be liable to pay the balance amount for any damage caused.
The excess amount covered by CDW varies by vehicle group
Compact Elite (2/4 Door) & Compact (4-5 Door, Automatic): $1,500 USD
Compact Elite SUV, Compact (4-5 Door, Auto 4WD), & Compact SUV: $2,500 USD
Vans: $3,500 USD
If the customer declines CDW at the pickup, they will be responsible for the full cost of any damage.
Third Party Liability Insurance (TPL):
TPL insurance is included in the rental price and covers up to $1,000,000 USD in damages to third parties.
Please Note: 1. In the event of an accident where the Renter or any other authorized driver listed on the rental agreement is at fault, the Renter will pay for loss of income for each day the vehicle is not in use based on a reasonable downtime.
Theft Waiver is not included in the rental amount.
Fees
There is no Airport fee.
Other fee:
1. Punctured tires are wholly the responsibility of the Renter. The Lessor may repair a punctured tire at an additional cost of USD 10.00 for each puncture on a tire and is payable by the Renter, should the tire be damaged beyond repair by the Renter, the full cost 100 USD per tyre will be applicable
2. A charge of USD 45 will be charged to the renter for vehicles returned with excessive sand or wet seats.
Breakdown Assistance
Breakdown assistance is available free of charge. Relevant contact details and roadside assistance procedures will be given prior to the commencement of the hire.
Fuel Policy
Your vehicle will be supplied with a full tank of fuel and must be returned full. Otherwise, missing fuel will be charged at USD 20 for every quarter tank of petrol less returned on your return. Fuel charges are payable at the rental desk unless otherwise stated. Suppliers fuel policies change from time to time, please confirm at rental counter.
Mileage Policy

Cross Border Travel
Cross border travel is not allowed.
Tax Rate
Tax is included in the rental price. However, for all the optional extras or special equipment, or extra services, tax would be levied separately.
Payment Methods
Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards are accepted and must be on main drivers name while paying at the rental desk, cash is also accepted.
Deposit
A refundable deposit of USD 500 is held from the credit card at the time of rental until the vehicle is returned.
Delivery and Collection
Delivery and Collection service is free of charge island wide.
Out of Hours
Out of hours service is available for an additional charge of USD 30.
Grace Period
for vehicle pick up
1 hour for late pick-up unless their flight was delayed. After the grace period booking will be considered as No Show OR if the supplier is trying to deliver the vehicle and is unable to deliver.
Late Return Policy
Please note that there is no grace period for late returns. A fee of 33 USD will apply for the first hour, followed by 20 USD for each additional hour thereafter.
Extras
Confirmation of Special Equipment’s depends upon the availability at the rental desk.
