Antigua Temporary Driver's Permit
Antigua Temporary Driver's Permit is mandatory and is issued by car Rental Company at the rental desk, valid for only 3 months from the date of issue and is available for an additional driver of USD 20 per driver. Maximum driver 3. This 20 USD fee is not included in the rental amount and will be charged separately.
Drivers Age
The minimum driver’s age is 22 years and the maximum driver’s age is 75 years.
Driver’s License
The renter and the driver have to be in possession of a valid driving license for at least 2 years. Also, a valid ID card or passport would be required at time of pick up.
The renter’s national driving license is needed at all times, so that a local driver's permit can be issued to the renter.
Insurance Coverage
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
It is included in your rental amount.
Collision damage waiver reduces the customer’s damage responsibility to the excess/deductible amount.
The excess amount for CDW depends on the vehicle groups:
The maximum excess amount for compact elite (2/4 door) and compact (4-5 door, automatic) vehicle groups is USD 1500.
The maximum excess amount for compact elite SUV, compact (4-5 door, Auto 4WD) and compact SUV groups is USD 2500.
The maximum excess amount for mini, intermediate (Open Air All Terrain) and premium SUV and mini Van groups is USD 3000.
Third Party Liability Insurance (TPL)
Third Party Cover is included in your rental amount.
Insurance coverage for the vehicle rented includes Third Party Liability with a maximum cover for personal injuries and material damages.
Please Note: 1. In the event of an accident where the Renter or any other authorized driver listed on the rental agreement is at fault, the Renter will pay for loss of income for each day the vehicle is not in use based on a reasonable downtime.
2. The renter is responsible for jeep wranglers during the rental period and should ensure that the vehicle is covered if they are away from the vehicle to protect the interior should rain begin to fall and will be held responsible for all damages should the vehicle be left open and the interior is damaged due to rain.
Excess Reduction option is not available.
Fees
There is no Airport fee.
Other fee:
1. Punctured tires are wholly the responsibility of the Renter. The Lessor may repair a punctured tire at an additional cost of USD 10.00 for each puncture on a tire and is payable by the Renter, should the tire be damaged beyond repair by the Renter, the full cost to replace the said tire is wholly the responsibility of the Renter and is payable at the time of vehicle return.
2. A charge of USD 20 will be charged to the renter for vehicles returned with excessive sand.
Breakdown Assistance
Breakdown assistance is available free of charge. Relevant contact details and roadside assistance procedures will be given prior to the commencement of the hire.
Fuel Policy
Your vehicle will be supplied with a full tank of fuel and must be returned full. Otherwise, missing fuel will be charged at USD 20 for every quarter tank of petrol less returned on your return. Fuel charges are payable at the rental desk unless otherwise stated. Suppliers fuel policies change from time to time, please confirm at rental counter.

Cross Border Travel
Cross border travel is not allowed.
Tax Rate
Tax is included in the rental price. However, for all the optional extras or special equipment, or extra services, tax would be levied separately. No tax.
Payment Methods and Deposit
Only Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards are accepted and must be on main drivers name while paying at the rental desk.
Deposit
A refundable deposit of USD 500 is held from the credit card at the time of rental until the vehicle is returned.
Delivery and Collection
Delivery and Collection service is free of charge island wide.
For one day rentals that are out of city limits (where there is no rental office) - a delivery and collection fee of USD 15 per service will apply.

Out of Hours
Out of hours service is available for an additional charge of USD 25.
Grace Period
for vehicle pick up
1 hour for late pick-up unless their flight was delayed. After the grace period booking will be considered as No Show OR if the supplier is trying to deliver the vehicle and is unable to deliver.
for late return
No grace period for late return. There is a USD 10 per hour for late return up to 4 hours after that they will be charged for the entire day.
Extras
Confirmation of Special Equipment’s depends upon the availability at the rental desk.
